The Netherlands

The Netherlands, as is to be expected, is a cyclists' paradise with wide safe cycle paths, superbly signposted networks (Knooppunt) and routes. The country is largely flat, though the southeastern corner does rise to 322.7 m. The only disadvantage is the predominately west wind which, unlike a hill, never comes to an end.
